  1.4     "Sec. 6.  COMPENSATION INCREASE IMPACT ON CERTAIN PRIOR 

  1.5  SERVICE CREDIT PURCHASES.

  1.6     If the salary of the executive director of the Minneapolis

  1.7  Employees Retirement Fund is increased as a result of section 1,

  1.8  if that person purchased service credit from the coordinated

  1.9  program of the general employees retirement plan of the Public

  1.10 Employees Retirement Association under First Special Session

  1.11 Laws 2001, chapter 10, article 17, section 7, and if that

  1.12 person's salary history after July 1, 2005, exhibits salary

  1.13 increases at a compound annual increase in excess of five

  1.14 percent per year, the person must either make an additional

  1.15 prior service credit purchase payment equal to the full

  1.16 actuarial value of the additional retirement annuity obtained by

  1.17 virtue of post‑July 1, 2005, salary increases in excess of five

  1.18 percent under Minnesota Statutes, section 356.551, or the

  1.19 person's retirement annuity under Minnesota Statutes, section

  1.20 353.29, must be limited to a post‑July 1, 2005, salary history

  1.21 that does not include a salary increase in any fiscal year

  1.22 starting after June 30, 2005, in excess of five percent."
